Secondary School

Secondary school students are taught math, science, Turkish, social sciences, physical education, music and English as well as courses where they are encouraged to bring out and develop their skills and talents. Darüşşafaka aims to develop in its students fluency in at least one foreign language, offering  German or French as a second foreign language from sixth year onwards. Every student receives instruction in sports, music, theatre and/or dance, according to his or her talents, and is trained by professional instructors.

High School

High school continues with classes in Turkish, math, sciences and intensive English as well as a second foreign language. Students start preparing for the university qualification exam in their ninth year and are sent to special prep schools in their last year.

Darüşşafaka Higher Education Scholarship

Darüşşafaka Society is providing non-refundable grants to Darüşşafaka High School graduates studying in universities. Terms and conditions detailing the criteria applied in selection of scholars, amounts of grants, and continuity of scholarship are regulated and dealt with in a regulation issued by Darüşşafaka Society, and are published to our graduates through calls and invitations repeated every year.

Amounts of grants differ depending on the degrees of our graduates in university admission exam, and their academic success recorded throughout their university education, and grants are paid for 9 months during each academic year.
