Putting its institutional management policies into practice, Darüşşafaka Society aims to pioneer other NGOs in the field of institutional management. While executing institutional management practices, “equality”, “transparency” and “accountability” principles were adopted for every activity of the Society.
Efficient management of Society’s resources was another issue elaborately ensured. Since the start of the process in 2007, the commissions have been actualized in the frameworks of generally accepted institutional management policies and charter of the Society. Regulations were made for the purpose of constituting a bylaw which will not only be about the working procedures and guidelines of these commissions, but will also include all activities of the Society.
As a result of these efforts, in 2013, Darüşşafaka Society became the first NGO in Turkey to receive a Capital Markets Board of Turkey (CMB) Corporate Governance Principles Compliance Rating. Darüşşafaka Society successfully received a rating of 8,4 out of 10.
